Answers to the questions we hear most
Does NewTV Player include channels or films?
No. NewTV Player is a media player only. It does not sell or include any channels, films, series or playlists. You play content you already have the right to watch.
How do I add my playlist?
Open NewTV Player and note the App ID and key on its home screen. Then go to Manage device on this website, sign in with them, and add your playlist. The app loads it the next time you open its home screen.
What are the App ID and key?
They identify your device. The app shows both on its home screen. You need them to add playlists here and to activate your device.
How long is the free trial?
Every new device gets a free 30-day trial to test the app. After that, the device needs activating to keep working.
How do I activate my device?
Sign in on Manage device with your App ID and key. Your device's page shows how to activate it. Then open the app again, or press Check again on its screen.
Is my playlist safe?
Only someone with your App ID and key can see your playlists here. You can also protect a playlist with a PIN, so its details stay hidden even from someone who knows both.
Which devices can I use?
NewTV Player is made for Android phones, tablets and TV boxes, Amazon Fire TV, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and smart TVs from Samsung (2019 and later), LG (2018 and later), Hisense and Toshiba (VIDAA), and Philips, AOC, JVC and other brands with Whale OS or Titan OS, as well as Windows PCs and Macs with Apple chips (M1 and later).
