Delete your NewTV Player data
Last updated 6 October 2026
NewTV Player has no user accounts. What we keep belongs to your device's App ID, the one the app shows on its first screen. You can have all of it deleted.
How to ask
- Open NewTV Player and note the App ID and key on its first screen.
- On this website, go to Manage device and sign in with them.
- Open Support and send a ticket saying Delete my data.
If you can't sign in, email support@newtvplayer.com with your App ID and key instead: we need both, so nobody else can delete your device. We confirm when it is done, within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your device's record: its App ID, the scrambled secret, the kind and model of device, the app version and when it last checked in.
- Your playlists and their PINs.
- Your support tickets and the messages in them.
What we keep
Records of payments (by card, in Google Play or in the App Store) and of activations by your provider, for as long as tax law requires, and no longer. A record of a card payment or of an activation by your provider also keeps the kind of device and when its page was last opened from the QR code or the app's button. Deleting your device's data also ends its activation.
What stays on your device
Your favourites and watch history never leave your device. To remove them, uninstall the app or clear its data in your device's settings.
You can also delete a single playlist yourself at any time, from Manage device. The Privacy Policy has the rest of what we keep and why.
